In the middle of nowhere

While travelling thru the desert areas, there comes a point when it seems like “we are in the middle of nowhere”. I guess somehow, somewhere each one of us may have experienced this scenario. Our life stages may make us feel that we are in the middle of nowhere. The feeling of being lost causes some reflections to emerge in minds.

How Hazrat Hajira (RA) must have felt when Prophet Ibrahim (AS) left her in the middle of the desert with an infant. Humanistically, random thoughts must be crossing her mind, no life anywhere, baby boy, have to stay alone, just barren desert and all this was faced with calm and peace by both Prophet Ibrahim (AS) and Hazrat Hajira (RA). Is it easy for a man to leave his family all alone in a barren desert? They had full trust in Allah (SWT) that HE shall provide for them.

Do we have this level of trust amongst ourselves? Do we believe in entirety that Allah (SWT) will take care of us in any circumstances? In many cases, slight problems make us think about endless solutions to solve the problem and still we are in doubt. Negative thoughts keep coming in the mind and we get upset regardless of knowing the fact that nothing is in our hands.

Actually, nothing is in our hands. We live in an illusion that we own and do things but we don’t. Its always Allah SWT who does everything for all. So next time when we think, we are in the middle of nowhere, look above we have Allah SWT with us who is EVERYWHERE and at all times. Raise your hands and ask HIM whatever you want, the feeling of being in the middle of nowhere shall vanish in seconds J

  1. Wow! Truly amazing.
It's true actually what we do normally is consider ourselves abandoned, we don't appreciate the fact everything happens for a reason and it's for our own betterment, people can only realize later in life the hardship they had to face that time, and what lesson it taught us.

Hats off to you Ms. Nida the way you brought up this subject is absolutely amazing. May ALLAH bless you!

  2. Beautifully penned and absolutely true. We, the humans want everything to happen quickly and how we wish for it to happen. But, we forget that Allah Almighty is the BEST of planners and we must have faith that whatever will happen will be good for us in all circumstances.
Stay blessed and keep writing such awesome blogs.

  4. Masha Allah nadia

Allah SWT in Quran says " In Allah ha ma Asabereen" [beshak Allah Sbr krnybwako ka sath ha]*.

And for patience faith is necessary. Every single person facing different problems, some are facing in famiky & friends, others in busineses, many facing health problems etc. But these all problems are purely trials by Allah S.W.T.
As Allah says in Quran [ ham insaan ko azmaty hain in diffeent ways] *.

We should follow Allah SWT orders & implement pragmaticly in our lives. So we could develope that required level of faith, once faith is developed every problems looks little problrm and mind automatically think about support of Allah S.W.T.
Every thing is written in Taqdeer &
We rely on man made materialhistic soloutuins instead Allah S.W.T.
Prophet Yoysuf AS story is another example of faith and patiencen. Others many examples are given in Quran.

May Allah give us true obidency &
    Bless Us All

    Aameen

  5. Very beautiful explanation. It's true that when faced by trials and tests we lose hope and feelings of depression overcome us. It's just during these times when we need to have strong faith and patience that Allah is always watching over us and we will be blessed with much better. Patience and Salah gets you through all trials.
